Yöllä oli satanut hieman mutta aamu valkeni aurinkoisena ja tällekin päivälle on luvassa lämmintä.
Liikkeelle paikalliseen tapaan 09:00 suuntana Valladolid moottorietä pitkin. Valladolidin jälkeen pääsimme tielle N122 joka vie viiniviljelysalueen läpi.
Tämän jälkeen ymmärrän hieman paremmin kuinka iso bisnes viini on Espanjassa sillä jo tämän yhden tien varressa on viini viljelmiä silmän kantamattomiin.
Aranda de Dueron kaupungissa tankkasimme pyörät ja kuinka ollakaan, huoltamon kassarouva oli käynyt Helsingissä ja tarinaahan olisi riittänyt vaikka emme puhu Espanjaa eikä hän Englantia.
Tämän jälkeen pääsimme pienille teille BU925 ja BU 825 kohti Logronoa.
Tie BU 825 kulkee vuoristoisen alueen läpi ja on todella ajamisen arvoinen vaikkakaan pinta ei ole koko matkalla priima kunnossa.
Tien alkuosa toi mieleen Norjan karuine vuorenseinämineen kirkasvetisen puron vieressä.
Ylempänä oli muutama kylä, useita lehmiä ja lampaita tiellä ja tienvieressä sekä lopulta muutama hevonenkin 👍
Tien laskeutuessa alaspäin vastaan tuli patoallas ja upeita maisemia Rio Najerillan varressa. Ainoa miinus asiassa oli vuoren rinteeltä tielle pudonneet nyrkin kokoiset kivet joita on syytä väistää.
Tien loppupäässä leveämmällä tiellä oli santarmi auto vilkut päällä ja pienen nokkakolarin jälkiselvittely käynnissä, olisiko irtokivillä ollut osuutta asiaan...
Lisäksi tuli opittua kantapään kautta että Espanjan pienissä kylissä on nopeusrajoituksen vaihtumisen jälkeen keltaista vilkkuvat liikennevalot ja tutka joka vaihtaa valot punaiselle jo "pienestä" ylinopeudesta. Siinä sitä sitten tyhmänä odottelet valojen vaihtumista 😎
Saavuimme Pamplonaan jossa kävimme ihmettelemässä härkätaisteluareenaa tosin vain ulkoa päin ja katuja joilla härkäjuoksut pidetään vuosittain heinäkuussa.
During the night there was a small rain but morning it was sunny again and the forecast was sunny and warm.
We started as usual at 09:00 towards Valladolid using the highway. After Valladolid we took the road N122 going throw vineyards.After this I understand a bit better how big business vine is in Spain as there was vineyards as far as you can see even on this one road.
At the city of Aranda de Duero we fueled our bikes and found out that the cashier lady of the fuel station has been in Helsinki. We could have chatted for hours even though we do not speak Spanish and she did not speak English.
After that we finally got our way to small roads BU925 and BU825 to Logrono.
Road BU825 goes through a mountain area and it's really worth of driving no matter to that the asphalt is not super all the way.
The firs part of of the road reminds me Norway with rugged mountains and crystal pure stream along the road.
As we rode higher there was a couple of small villages, several cows and sheep at the road and along the road and finally some horses👍
As the road turned downwards we passed a dam and beautiful scenery along the river Rio Najerilla. The only minus was rocks fallen to the road.
At the end of the road there was a police car in the middle of the road having alarm lights on, almost ready of handling a small accident of two cars. Wonder if small rocks had something to do with that...
Also I learned that in Spain when entering a small village they have traffic lights just after changing the speed limit connected to a radar that changes the yellow flashing lights on red if you have even a "little bit" speed too much. And then you just stand there like a fool waiting for lights to change 😎
We arrived to Pamplona where we visited the bull fighting area, only from outside and the streets where they arrange annual bull running in July.
